I’ve had a couple of small, intimate weddings this year and I have to say, I really enjoy them! Bob and Shellbee’s was thoroughly enjoyable. From the emotional ceremony, to the happy, laughter-filled family groupings. You could really sense the love that this couple has for each other and their family and friends. Congratulations to you both!

I love shooting birthday parties! I think it’s all the candid moments. Very little posing that I like so much. Plus, it’s wonderful interacting with all the kids. Cole’s 2nd birthday party was in Fish Creek Park. It was the perfect location.
If you would enjoy putting your own camera down and just relaxing and having fun at your child’s birthday party, call me! I’ll document the festivities for you and you might even get into a few shots too I was with these wonderful people for 2.5 hours. They are getting 350 images on the CD. Not too shabby.

17 months ago I was blessed to photograph Curtis and Ashleigh and new born baby Trenten. It was a great surprise to get the chance to do another shoot with them and the Curtis’ siblings. Trenten’s smile made me melt! He was such a well behaved boy and so comfortable in front of the camera. McElhinney clan, thank you for the great morning. I hope you enjoy your photos and I’d love to get together with you again to document another day!

These are going on my office walls | Calgary photographer
For the past 10 days or so I’ve been hard at work redecorating my office. I don’t know how to describe the way it looked before. I guess the terms “College dorm room”, or “Frat house”, would best describe it. It was a mishmash of ugly desks, and clutter. So embarrassing, that I had never allowed any clients to even capture a slight peek into it. It was off limits to the public. Completely.
My new digs are beautiful! Everything matches and thanks to Ikea for the inspirations. I’ll post photos of the completed room later. But for now, I have these 3 flower shots that I took today in the studio. I wanted white, clean, fresh. I think I captured that! Now I have to decide how big the canvases are going to be…..

It never fails. We always get wonderful weather for the Tucker’s sessions. I arrived a few hours earlier for their session to ensure we got the kids at their best time of day. It worked! There was non-stop fun and laughter the whole day. Got some real “goodies” this session. Thanks guys! Love ya!

Liam’s 4th Birthday Party | Calgary photographer
It seems like just a few months ago I was taking pictures of his 3rd birthday. Time flies by way too fast. 4th year in a row, we had terrific weather for the outdoor bonanza of presents, food, kids screeching and having fun, adults screeching and having fun. It was a blast had by all. Love you BUNCHES Liam!!!
